Pickbone Papi

  • a unique, self-created nickname used for personal branding
  • Even though it is not a standard dictionary word, he uses Pickbone Papi as a playful title to stand out.

  • Remember that a small and loyal posse is much more valuable than having thousands of followers online.

intro

  • the short beginning of a show, song, or speech

AKA

  • short for “also known as,” used to introduce another name for someone
  • He is a very famous chef AKA the King of Spice in his hometown.

  • to be prepared for a situation that might happen
  • You should always carry an extra charger just in case your phone battery dies during the trip.

get to the bag

  • to work hard and focus on making money
  • She stays focused and wakes up early every day to get to the bag and reach her goals.

get it done

  • to complete a task successfully or do what is needed
  • Stop worrying about the perfect timing; just start working and get it done.

speak one’s mind

  • to say exactly what you think in a very direct way
  • It takes a lot of courage to speak one’s mind, but it is the only way to live an authentic life.

loyal following

  • a group of people who consistently support and admire someone’s work

  • to start discussing, explaining, or performing a task

  • a woman who is skilled at many different things

  • Finding something you love to do for a living makes every workday feel like a hobby.
